Description
The Heritage Black is a black leather belt for men who want one belt for the whole week. It's black English bridle leather with a clean heel bar buckle that works with jeans on Saturday and slacks on Monday.
One belt between casual and dress
Heritage sits in the middle of my three lines. The buckle is plainer than the Foundry roller buckle and heavier-looking than the Cavalier heel bar dress buckle. If you only own one black belt, this is the one I'd point you to.
Why the back is smooth
The back of every strap is pasted, which smooths the fuzzy flesh side of the hide. It has some practical benefit, but mostly people associate a rough back with a cheap belt. I buy pasted leather from the start rather than splitting the leather and sewing two layers together.

Wrap a tape measure around your waist where your belt sits, over your pants. That number is your size.

Excellent leather quality and finishing on the belt. Love the "semi-dress" buckle which has a nice weight to it. Couldn't be happier with it, and I've already ordered a second belt in a different leather color.
