About these belts
Chestnut is the one leather I don't buy from Chahin. It's Hermann Oak bridle from St. Louis, old-school tanning done right. It starts out firm, breaks in well and builds a strong patina.
Wear it with lighter suits, tan or mid-brown shoes, chinos and lighter denim.
Pick your buckle
- Cavalier: heel bar dress buckle. The one I'd wear with a suit.
- Heritage: heel bar buckle. Works with slacks or jeans.
- Foundry: roller buckle. Casual and quick to adjust.
Each belt is one strap of bridle leather, 1-1/2 inches wide, cut, burnished and assembled by hand in New Jersey after you order. Chicago screws hold the buckle, so it can come off for a swap or a repair. Not sure of your size? Read the belt size guide first. Shipping is free in the contiguous US.
