Chestnut is the leather I buy from Hermann Oak, not Chahin, because nobody else has this color. It's a rich, warm chestnut, and it's a very popular color for jeans, chinos and boots.
Foundry or Heritage
- Foundry: roller buckle. The most casual, and quick to adjust.
- Heritage: heel bar buckle. Plainer than the roller buckle, so it also works with slacks.
Hermann Oak is hard and durable. It starts out firm, breaks in well and builds a strong patina, so this belt looks better the longer you wear it. Each belt is 1-1/2 inches wide, cut, burnished and assembled by hand in New Jersey after you order. Chicago screws hold the buckle, so it can come off for a swap or a repair. Not sure of your size?
