Chestnut Dress Belts
Chestnut is the one leather I don't buy from Chahin. It's Hermann Oak bridle, and I keep it for the color: a rich chestnut I haven't found anywhere else. It's a lighter dress belt than Black or Havana, and it looks best with light suits and tan or mid-brown shoes.

About these belts
Chestnut is the one leather I don't buy from Chahin. It's Hermann Oak bridle, and I keep it for the color: a rich chestnut I haven't found anywhere else. It's a lighter dress belt than Black or Havana, and it looks best with light suits and tan or mid-brown shoes.
Cavalier or Heritage
- Cavalier: heel bar dress buckle. The one I'd wear with a suit.
- Heritage: heel bar buckle. Plainer and a bit heavier-looking, so it also works with chinos.
Hermann Oak is a hard, durable leather that starts out firm and breaks in well. It builds a strong patina, so a Chestnut belt keeps changing the longer you wear it. Each belt is 1-1/2 inches wide, cut, burnished and assembled by hand in New Jersey after you order. Chicago screws hold the buckle, so it can come off for a swap or a repair. Not sure of your size? Read the belt size guide first. Shipping is free in the contiguous US, and you get 30 days to return it.
